Overview

The Environmental Check Tool is available from the 2026.10 PMX WMS release.

The Environment Check Tool runs a standardized set of technical measurements to help identify where a performance issue in the user's Produmex WMS environment may be coming from.

It automatically checks:

  • Network latency to the SAP Business One server
  • Database server memory and database sizes, to help spot memory constraints
  • Database and direct connection performance
  • Transaction Notification response time, including an empty call to detect database-side delays
  • SAP Business One UI performance, by timing representative UI operations

How to run the tool

The tool is installed automatically with Produmex WMS - no additional installation or configuration is needed:

C:\Program Files\Produmex\Produmex Tools\Produmex.Sbo.Logex.Tools.EnvironmentChecks.exe
Note: It is important to run the tool and SBO as administrator, otherwise the console will not run properly!
Run the tool:
  1. Right-click SAP Business One and select Run as administrator, then log in to the relevant company
  2. Open File Explorer and go to C:\Program Files\Produmex\Produmex Tools\
  3. Right-click Produmex.Sbo.Logex.Tools.EnvironmentChecks.exe and select Run as administrator
  4. A console window opens and the checks run automatically - no input is required
  5. Once it is done, the results are automatically saved

Reviewing your results

The user can run the tool any time so they can have a quick read on their own environment's health.
The tool automatically saves its results to a log file at:

C:\ProgramData\Boyum IT\WMS\EnvironmentChecks.log
Sharing results with Support:
  1. Go to the folder above and locate the EnvironmentChecks log file
  2. Attach it directly to the support case
  3. This gives Support a consistent, predefined set of measurements up front, reducing back-and-forth troubleshooting questions
